Program description

Program name: Ryan Nguyen OD PLLC Appointment and Care Notifications.

Ryan Nguyen OD PLLC sends text messages to patients who have consented to receive them. Messages are informational and relate to your care: appointment confirmations and reminders, recall notices, and care notifications. We also send sign-in verification codes to our own staff. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Consent and opt-in

You opt in by giving consent at our office on our paper intake form, which has a separate SMS consent box that is not pre-checked; you check it and sign. Staff agree to receive sign-in verification codes when their account is set up. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care.

Consent wording: “I agree to receive text messages from Ryan Nguyen OD PLLC at the mobile number I provided, including appointment confirmations and reminders, recall notices, and care notifications. How to opt out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages unless you opt in again by replying START or telling the office. You can also tell the office.

Replies

Some reminders may let you reply C to confirm an appointment. Do not include health details in replies. Our texts do not contain detailed health information.
