Contact lens exams and fittings in Gilbert and Mesa
We fit soft spherical lenses, lenses for astigmatism (toric) and multifocal lenses, and make sure they are comfortable and that you see clearly.
Independent eye doctor. Dr. Nguyen’s practice is located inside the Walmart Vision Center, but it is not owned by or affiliated with Walmart. The optical shop is independent of our practice, and you may fill your prescriptions anywhere.
Why a contact lens exam is separate
Contact lenses sit on the surface of your eye, so they have to be fitted to it. A contact lens exam is done in addition to a regular eye exam and includes measuring your eyes for lenses and checking that the lenses fit and feel right.
Lens types we fit
- Soft spherical lenses for nearsightedness and farsightedness.
- Toric lenses for astigmatism.
- Multifocal lenses for people who need help seeing both near and far.
What to bring
Bring your current glasses and, if you wear contacts now, your lenses or the box or packaging so we know what you are using. Please do not wear contacts to a first visit if we have told you not to when you called.
Buy your lenses anywhere
The optical shop is independent of Dr. Nguyen’s practice. You may fill your contact lens prescription there, online, or with any other provider.
